Transport and logistics are key to completing the creation of the internal market. In 2010, the European Commission will adopt a new White paper on European transport policy that will establish the priorities of the EU in achieving liberalisation of the industry (freight and passengers), guaranteeing the security of networks and reducing the impact of transport on the environment.
Euralia continuously monitors legislative and regulatory issues related to different modes of transport and any associated environmental measures. Euralia supports industry companies and professional associations in their approach to European Institutions in order to keep them informed of realities in the field and to contribute to the debate on the future priorities and challenges of community transport policy after 2010.
